It’s a busy half term for College staff and students with three trips away during half term; heading north to Iceland, south to Kenya and up mountains in Italy!
17 Lower Sixth formers and 3 staff leave College on Tuesday to travel to the village of Turi in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. They will be working in a local school and in the Turi Children’s Project.
15 A level and Year 11 students are travelling to Iceland for a six day Geography fieldtrip. They will be studying volcanic, river and coastal landforms along the South coast of Iceland. Hopefully the skies will be clear so they can see the Northern Lights.
58 students from Year 8 – 12, accompanied by 7 staff, will be hoping for fantastic snow as they head to Sestriere, Italy during half term.
We wish them all an enjoyable week and look forward to hearing all about their adventures and experiences when they return.
