AS Geography Field Trip to Lake District

Whilst Guernsey experienced record breaking rainfall, the AS Geographers enjoyed clear skies and sunshine in the Lake District. This enabled them to benefit from the marvelous scenery and excellent case study locations for physical and human geography. 27 students in total, including 9 from Ladies’ College, attended the trip. Field work included measuring the downstream changes to the Glenderaterra beck and looking at the flood defences along the River Greta in Keswick.
