A wild and windy day at the Channel Islands longest and toughest course, saw the Elizabeth College team of 8 set out to try and make it 3 wins in a row. Having stocked up on biscuits and refreshments courtesy of Blue Island the team arrived at La Moye. It was a very young College team this year with two Year 9 boys and two from Year 10 playing against a Victoria College team who could afford to leave our a former Jersey inter-insular player! The boys did themselves proud trying their hardest is very difficult conditions. The eventual score was Vic 51/2 to College 21/2. There were victories for Jake Marshall and Jacob Tanguy and a half for Issac Bate. A mention too for Dougie Kelham, Hugo Le Marchand and Louis Raffray who were playing match play off the back tees of a championship course for the first time. All three gave their all for the team and will have gained valuable experience.
