Thank you to Juno’s aunty, Clare Pelly from Virgin Galactic, for speaking with the Year 1 children yesterday as part of their space topic. She talked the children through what she does and how they might one day be able to take a space flight.

Thank you to Finlay’s dad for helping Reception with their learning this week when he brought in building materials & construction vehicles for the children to explore. For Reception’s traditional tales topic they have been focusing on the ‘Three Little Pigs’ story. #ECJS

Pre-School has enjoyed tuning into ‘Owl Cam’ at Arthur's grandpa’s this week. The box has a Tawny owl nesting in it and everyone has enjoyed watching along to see if there are any signs that her chicks are about to hatch! Thank you to Mr Hamon and also to Mrs Ellis and Mr Sirett.

EC is sharing the diverse #destinations of Y13 leavers as they work towards their A Level exams. Excitement is building for the next chapter with two students heading to the US. Tanner to @DePauwU on a golf scholarship & Amelie Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology @UCLA.
The Easter break saw a fantastic tour to Barbados for our cricket, football and hockey teams. With some excellent matches the students had the opportunity to test their skills in the heat. College plans to add netball fixtures for the future!
