Artist in residence at Elizabeth College, Aaron Yeandle, has photographed a number of the actors cast in Oh What a Lovely War!
Aaron, a professional artist with a Master of Arts in Fine Art and Bachelor of Arts in Photography, joined the art department in September 2017. With a passion for capturing the world around him through a lens and telling a story with photography, Aaron worked with the actors from Elizabeth College and Ladies’ College during rehearsals.
The resulting photographs are beautiful, thought-provoking images of the cast.
Elizabeth College is performing ‘Oh, What a Lovely War!’ to coincide with the centenary of the end of the First World War, and to honour and pay respect to the 112 OEs who fought and lost their lives as a result of the conflict.
