Adventure at Elizabeth College is all about inspiring confidence, resilience, and a love for the outdoors. It offers students the chance to step beyond the classroom and discover new challenges in a safe, supportive environment. From the rugged coastline of Guernsey to the open sea, our programme encourages exploration, teamwork, and personal growth.

Students can take part in a wide range of activities throughout the year. These include bushcraft and climbing, coasteering along our stunning shores, and sailing with expert guidance. For those who love the water, sea swimming and annual events such as the Castle Swim and Swimarathon are highlights of the calendar. Adventure also extends to shooting sports and the Combined Cadet Force, providing opportunities to develop discipline and leadership.

A cornerstone of our offering is the Duke of Edinburgh Award, with Bronze and Gold levels available. This programme combines skill-building with unforgettable expeditions and residential experiences, helping students develop independence and resilience. Regular Friday activities and drop-in support ensure that every student can get involved, whether they are trying something new or honing existing skills.

Adventure at Elizabeth College is more than just a set of activities—it’s a mindset. It teaches students to embrace challenges, work together, and discover their own potential. Whether this is when scaling a climbing wall, navigating a coastal path, or cooking over a campfire, every experience is designed to enrich their education and create memories that last a lifetime.
