Year 2 at Elizabeth College Junior School are learning how to be apprentice gardeners.
Their science topic for the Trinity term is focusing on seeds and bulbs. The children will be doing their own planting at school and seeing how their efforts help their plants grow over the next few weeks.
The children met Mr Bennett at the outdoor classroom where he told them all about the role of a gardener and what it takes to look after plants… Water, sunshine, food and plenty of care.
