Last week artist Frances Lemmon visited Elizabeth College Junior School to see the Year 6 children she met with before her recent trip to Costa Rica regarding William le Lacheur.
Ahead of her trip, Year 6 prepared artwork on ‘what makes Guernsey special’ to be shared with the children in Costa Rica and also came up with a number of questions they would like to ask them. On her return visit to Elizabeth College Junior School, Frances shared the answers to their questions and also asked them a series of questions from the children in Costa Rica.

The paintings and drawings included pictures of volcanic landscapes, toucans and cougars and Frances explained that this was the first time the Costa Rican children had used paint for their artwork.
