Last Friday Reception parents were invited to Elizabeth College Junior School to enjoy a French breakfast. With their coffee and croissants parents listened to the children sing songs from their ‘Around the World’ topic, including one with 23 different languages.
Reception has particularly enjoyed learning French songs with Mrs Santi, who was so enthusiastic at the breakfast that she managed to persuade the parents to get involved – with the actions!
The children have particularly enjoyed the presentations from parents from different countries, learning about other cultures, traditions and climates from around the world. Thank you to everyone who has helped this topic be so much fun.
