The Guernsey Fencing Academy hosted the British Youth Championship qualifiers at Elizabeth College in November 2017. With twenty fencers trying to secure a place in the marquee event in Sheffield in May 2018 the competition included U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups. Guernsey Fencing Academy Coach Chris Buxton was delighted with the performances and also with how many of the fencers qualified to represent Guernsey in the 2018 British Youth Championships.
