For the past few weeks a group of Year 12 students have been volunteering to help the charity Guernsey Trees for Life and their ‘Little Tree’ project to create a wildlife hedge at the GSPCA.
As well as learning about how the hedgerow will improve the biodiversity of the area, and how to analyse and improve the soil, the students have also been picking up the spades and doing the practical work too.
