Drama students from Years 9, 10 and 12 have enjoyed a ‘Practical Devising’ workshop with physical theatre company Scene Productions.
The workshop focused on helping students to develop a tool-box of physical acting techniques that they can draw on for their own drama studies. The session included chair duets, lifts and balances, character building, mime and exploring multi-use props.
The London-based company that has worked extensively in over 400 schools, arts centres and theatres throughout the UK, Ireland and Belgium and their style and approach to theatre is studied in schools nationwide. The workshop was led by Kelly Smith, Company Director at Scene Productions.
