Congratulations to Charities Coordinator TJ Fitzgerald and his team, who have confirmed the total raised by Elizabeth College’s Sports Relief fundraising was an amazing, and best ever, £2,226.17 – a tremendous team effort.
Particular highlights included the very popular opportunity to ‘throw a wet sponge at a teacher’ and hundreds of bacon butties rustled up by the Charities committee.
Other events have included dodgeball using the giant gym balls, ‘A question of Sports’ quiz, a coin drive to write a giant ‘Sports Relief’ on the hard court, a stall selling hand-drawn comic books and a pool competition.
