Elizabeth College is experiencing one of the most dynamic and forward-looking periods in its nearly 465 year history. We are hugely proud of this unique and vibrant school which is steeped in character, enriched by a colourful heritage, and driven by a long-established tradition of academic excellence. Beyond the classroom, Elizabeth College places great importance on co-curricular life. Qualities such as leadership, resilience, confidence, and independence of mind are not easily taught through textbooks alone. Our extensive programme of sport, creative arts, and enrichment activities plays a vital role in shaping well-rounded, capable young people.
The College also has a proud tradition of service to the Guernsey community. Many Old Elizabethans have gone on to hold senior roles within the Bailiwick, while others have made their mark on the global stage in fields ranging from public service to business, science, and the arts. The College’s impact endures; in academic success, in personal growth, and in the meaningful contributions our students go on to make.
FOUNDATION APPEALS
The Foundation aims to enhance the education of current and future generations of Elizabeth College students, ensuring they can make the most of their potential and leave us well-equipped to contribute to society. Our core income streams such as school fees continue to fund our running costs and the maintenance of existing buildings and facilities, but are not sufficient to fund major capital projects.
Approximately every five years, the Elizabeth College Foundation run an appeal to encourage donations from OEs, past and present parents and other well-wishers who would like to support the school. The Foundation seeks to continue to attract as much support as it can for the College. Thank you to all the donors who have given their support to previous appeals, we really cannot thank you enough.
