Joining the Junior School
Entry points to Elizabeth College Junior School include Pre-School and Reception. Very occasionally places are available in other years, but these are typically subject to a waiting list. Elizabeth College Junior School is a very popular school and we encourage families to make their application to Reception early, to avoid disappointment.

APPLYING FOR A PLACE
The first step in the process for any admission is to complete and return the Registration Form and pay a deposit. Further details can be found on our admissions page here. For applications to other year groups, many of which are nearing or at capacity, we are happy to answer any queries relating to your application and the school’s waiting list.
TASTER SESSION
Following the successful completion of a formal assessment in literacy and numeracy and a reference from your child's current school, prospective pupils are invited to attend a taster session. For families moving to the island, arrangement can be made with your child’s current school for assessments to be carried out in situ.
When your child comes in for their taster session they will spend time with their potential year group. You will have the opportunity to meet and speak to their class teacher on arrival and collection.
