In the Sixth Form, our students work closely with teachers to focus in depth on the subjects they’re passionate about. In combination with increasing influence and leadership in all aspects of school life, our Sixth Formers leave Elizabeth College confidently prepared for life and study beyond.

APPLYING FOR A PLACE

For students, currently at other schools, interested in applying for a place in the Elizabeth College Sixth Form, the first step in the process for any admission is to complete and return the Registration Form and pay a deposit. Further details can be found on our admissions page here.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There is a minimum entry requirement of five GCSE passes at grades 9-4 (including English Language and Mathematics) in order to begin A level study at Elizabeth College. Further to this, students should aim to achieve at least a grade 6 in subjects to be studied at A level, or in related subjects where they are not taught at GCSE.

INFORMATION EVENINGS

The first step to find out more about Elizabeth College Sixth Form is to visit the school. Open Day is undoubtedly the best way to experience everything Elizabeth College can offer. It is a chance to walk the halls, see our departments in action and discover whether you see yourself thriving as part of our dynamic and friendly community.

College also hosts a dedicated Sixth Form Information Evening for students currently in Year 11 interested in taking their A Levels at Elizabeth College. The evening gives an insight in to the options available at College as well as the opportunities available to our Sixth Form students.

As part of the Sixth Forms in Partnership there is also an A Level Choices Evening. This event enables students to delve deeper into the subject choices they want to pursue at Sixth Form. Elizabeth College and The Ladies’ College jointly host the A Level choices evening for any Year 11 students interested in taking their A Levels in the Sixth Form in Partnership.
